Hanbok este costumul traditional coreean, dupa care s-au inspirat multi creatori de moda.
Acest costum, folosit si astazi la diferite ceremonii, este o arta unica. Costumele, prezentate in Galeria de Arta "Galateca" (expozitia Hands of Koreea, 1-6 sept.), au fost create de designerul de hanbok Young Im Na. Ele reprezinta replica unor costume traditionale dar si propriile interpretari ale unor creatii din timpul Dinastiei Joseon (oficiali, costume de nunta, costume pentru femei, etc.). Materialele folosite sunt matasurile naturale, uni sau imprimate cu pigment auriu sau argiuntiu si accesorizate cu elemente brodate.
