Amintiri...

Uitandu-ma prin albumele mele de amintiri, am gasit niste fotografii facute in iulie 2009 la un open day acasa la Liz, o doamna americana care locuia atunci in Bucuresti. Impreuna cu cateva prietene din grupul Peticelul Romanesc, am fost invitate sa-i vedem lucrarile sale de arta textila si patchwork. Liz avea o colectie impresionanta de lucrari. Cu mare generozitate ne-a aratat lucrarile sale si ne-a explicat cum lucreaza. A fost o zi minunata de care imi amintesc cu mare placere.
Imaginile cred ca spun totul, nu mai este nevoie de cuvinte....

Looking back through my albums of memories, I found some photos taken in July 2009 at an open day, in the house of Liz, an American lady who lived at that time in Bucharest. Together with some friends of Romanian Patchwork group, I was invited to see her works of textile art and patchwork. Liz had an impressive collection of works. With great generosity she showed us her artworks and explained how she makes them. It was a great day that I remember with great pleasure.
